    Description

((EDIT: I don't really use this anymore, lol.))

I spend a lot of my spare time piecing UIs together, but I am anything but an expert on them. I am just scratching the surface in regards to the basics of lua editing, and I find great joy in seeing what I can create in my little 1280x800 15" laptop screen!
This is my favorite so far out of my other experiments, so I thought I would share it with you all. :)

Please keep in mind that this UI is strictly designed for personal use (as a Rogue involved in casual PvP, RP and Questing), and I am aware it may not suit the taste of others (not 1px slim, low set UFs, large cooldown icons, etc).

I also cannot offer this up for download, for those interested, but I will say it's super easy to replicate if you try. I've made sure to list all addons used, which can be found on wowinterface and/or curse without issue. :)

I cherry-picked inspiration from multiple UIs, so you may see some semblance to other packages around here.

Major credit goes to the addon authors, of course!

    //Notes//
+ Target/Focus castbars in center of screen for easy interrupts and visibility in general.
+ Quartz isn't skinned with glowTex, unsure how to go about this properly.
+ Upper left hand corner is sort of naked because of how I prefer my buff + raid frame layout. Considering putting tooltips up there?
+ Disabled all actionbars minus main bar and 1 side bar, which I forgot to display in these images. The 1 sidebar is on the right, and is visible when hovered over.
+ Font used in UI is AccidentalPresidency
    + WTB bigger monitor pst

I should also add, to Right Align my loot frame, I used a small addon called RightAlignCombat!

I simply tweaked which frame it right aligned.

I love the UI, regarding how the top left is naked, you may consider doing a few things to make that have a little more weight to it.

Consider moving your mouse over bar over there in a 2 rows of 6 fashion?
    Put the tooltip anchor their?
Possibly move the blizzard resource text (or whatever its called, the stuff at the top that tells you if your winning or not) to their.

    Great UI, simple, functional, pretty.

Chance, those are all good ideas! Thanks for the input, and I'm glad you like the UI! :)

It's really impressive what you've done with 1280x800 here. Your UI is clean, functional, and still does a great job maximizing viewable screen space. It's obviously bare of the typical recount etc. so many people like to run, but for your monitor resolution, I don't begrudge the decision to leave it out. Fantastic job overall!

Thank you very much, dwhite! :D
As far as damage meter position goes, in my most recent layout (which frankly looks nothing like this, lol), I stick a nicely adjusted tinydps just under my minimap. It fits nice, looks clean, and doesn't take up a whole lot of space...

And space is pretty important to me. I despise a cluttered screen, and having a little 15" monitor makes that an interesting challenge.

    Thanks again for looking!
