    Description

Here is my new UI based on various GOOD ui's i've seen throughout the times (Led++, Ishtara, Sov and more)

I am a fulltime raider (25M), and have tried to create something that looks neat while in a raid and full action goes on. Attempt of making a simple and minimalistic look, which is hard because there's so much information that flies around that you want to catch.

The main point is the center, where most important things happen. Two actionbars is just about enough for my in-combat needs. Player, Target ant ToT all close to main actionbars for easy monitoring of everything.

Above Target+ToT is target buffs, castbar and some specific class-related debuffs (Via classtimer - sunder armor, demoshout, rend etc for warriors). Focus (and Focus' target) is located in the very top middle of the screen, together with a focus-castbar.

In between player frame and actionbars hides a global-cooldown bar (gnosis) and above actionbars, a swing-timer (only works for wielding 1 weapon, unfortunately for me as I play dualwield fury)

Below playerframe you find my castbar which is quite small. And below that you will find classtimer for player, special buffs such as potions, trinketprocs, deathwish and other CD-abilities. Grid in the bottom.

To the left of the "main-group" (that being the center thing with all the points i just described) Omen appears in combat with a slight alpha.

I have mirrored 2 boxes, one for chat and 1 for minimap, recount and DXE.

The term "minimalistic" is often frowned upon as many try to make their interfaces and call it just that, when it's rather just a bunch of different textures, pixelfonts and so on just smashed together into something random. I think I have managed to create a minimalistic RAIDERS UI with all vital information you would need.

PS: THE POWER AURAS IN ONE OF THE SCREENS ARE REALLY UGLY I JUST HAVENT GOTTEN AROUND TO MAKING A NICE CUSTOM TEXTURE FOR SLAM PROCS YET :--[[ (which I have done for ARMS procs!)

Assuming you are using Skada, which it looks as if you are, you could edit the font lines in the LUA to add an outline, so it would match your other fonts more. This is needed anyway as the texture youre using for the bars makes many of the lighter classes very difficult to read.

This is great! I really like it. Fonts/textures are spot on.

I really wish I could get used to stacking my player/target UF's vertically :-( It looks great and provides lots of room. But every time I've tried it I end up thinking I'm dying as my target is killed! My eyes have just been tried for too long to watch for my HP in one spot, lol

I like it, good placement of UI elements etc. Some small changes I would personally make, but overal it's a solid UI with all the features you need in a good position.

It's actually recount, so :\ Been wanting to use Skada because it's easier to look pretty - but it's not as report-friendly as recount unfortunately.

Similar code changes should still be possible with Recount, not sure what you see as being less report-friendly with Skada, however.

Hi. I love your UI, and as a raiding fury warrior as well, I'd love to ask you some questions.
Just want to say that my UI tends to be somewhat messy due to the fact that I don't have a widescreen monitor.

Anyway, to my question(s). What addon are you using to track the ICD/global cooldowns on the left side of your screen? I see trinkets, rings, Death Wish, Recklessness etc up there and you specified classtimer but I'm not finding the option in my classtimer addon to put the ICD of these objects up. Also wondering how you got your classtimer to have such sexy fonts and colors.

I kind of want to mirror your UI, I like it quite a lot. If you can help me out via IM/Email, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Do you mind explaining how you got Lynstats and Heatsink to look as they do?

Any chance of posting this in a pack? I'd love to play around with it. Thx!

I like it a lot and I am trying to recreate it on my warriors UI right now but am having problems maybe because not all the addons are named and KGpanels is always a pain.

The cooldowntracker is Heatsink combined with InternalCooldowns. And for the sexy look on classtimer, haven't done anything out of the ordinary. Everything done through the menu :)

I've changed the font in lynstats and added outline to it, also altered the splitting from dots to slashes. All can be easily found in the original file.

That's Hoog57 or something similiar. Have downloaded a sharedmedia pack with loooads of fonts, shouldn't be too hard to find on wowinterface in someones UI packs :)

Thanks! :) I finally finished a similar UI to yours for my healing needs. I'll post a screenshot soon!

I absolutely love this. I'm attempting to recreate it, but I have no experience with modifying the lua so it is pretty rough.
How do you place things (such as the action bars, NeedtoKnow bars, etc.) so perfectly if they do not have a menu? I use the menus for the UFs and whatever else I can, but Align is not enough to make it as neat as I would like.
Any tips (from anyone)? Thanks a ton.

Edit - by the way, why do you use MSBT and the built-in damage text?

The font he uses is HOOG0557.TTF.
It takes time to recreate this UI.
It takes time to move stuff.
This is what I have so far:
