    Here goes...
    1. Change your minimap size from rediculously large to something smaller.
    2. I promise you that not all those buttons are needed.
    3. Consistant texturing is nice (dps, UFs, tidy plates etc...)
    4. Text frame is ENORMOUS, you really dont need to be able to read more then 5-10 lines up, the 20 lines you have is... too much.
    5. That font... fix it.

I actually like how you have a bar that goes across your entire screen thats semi-opaque but honestly its too large, I recommend scaling down everything and making the chat frames be about as high as 2 action bars.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MAP ACTION BARS HERE AND HERE text frame here
MAP SECOND BAR, TWO IS ENOUGH text frame here
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This way, you keep your theme and look but make it more minimal and therefore, your game more spacious.

Hmm, it has never crossed my mind that this UI is to big but that is what everyone is saying (my friend said something similar). Then I looked at the most popular UI's on this site and they were all, what I would call, tiny. Maybe I can keep the action bars close to the same size and shrink the left and right sections to preserve symmetry (the most important aspect of my UI due too my OCD tendencies).

I should mention that I got the initial idea from Tyrias' UI. http://wow.joystiq.com/2010/06/01/reader-ui-of-the-week-tyrias-ui/#continued

What on my action bars is not needed? I use nearly everything there except for maybe the lifeblood. One thing to consider about me is that I don't use my keyboard. Now I know that nearly everyone thinks that it is essential to use the keyboard to play effectively but... I don't like it so I don't use it that much. That is why I chose to emulate Tyrias' UI with the action bars being higher up and closer to the character. This also means I need them kind of large to be easily clickable.

Thank you for the input and I am considering some of your suggestions. We will see how it evolves from here.

Also, I like my font; so no.

For most UIs if you have a reason for something to be out of the ordinary than its ok but for your action bars I have to recommend Opie or Geist both of those or for clicking bars that you want show up only under certain circumstances, another option would be setting one or two of your bars to only show up on mouseover.

As far as your unneeded buttons, most of the totems you have are unnecessary because of both your call of "x" spells and the totem expandable on click frame (if you click on the arrow above a fire totem it will show all your fire totems.)

Another thing you can try to make the bottom smaller is to move one bar to the far right or left and make it vertical, this way it doesn't interfere with the symmetry of the UI but it does create a more minimal bottom bar.

One last thing, have you ever considered a HuD? On UIs like this I think they are better than UFs since your eyes spend so much time looking in one area of your screen a HuD could help with tunnel vision.
