Materials in the libraries serve the programs and majors primarily located on each campus. The combined holdings of both libraries include more than 250,000册图书, serials and microforms; more than 12,000 media items; as well as access to more than 60,000 electronic periodicals and approximately 80,000电子书. 与教师合作, librarians seek to maintain a well-rounded collection of authoritative materials that support Sage’s academic mission.

Each location has work areas that facilitate both quiet study and group collaboration.

Library Information/Circulation Desks in both campus learning centers are staffed nearly 80 hours per week, providing timely research and technical assistance in-person and via phone, 电子邮件, 和在线聊天.

The libraries are open to the public. Certain resources are restricted to the Sage community.

The Albany campus 图书馆 was renovated in 2009 to create the 奥尔巴尼校园学习中心, which integrates Hazel’s Café, 学术支持 Services and Career Planning. Verschoor房间, 位于二楼, houses a comprehensive collection of art books and is a popular space for quiet study.

The Troy campus 图书馆 was renovated in 2013 to create the 谢伊学习中心, named after Lucille Rosenfeld Shea, who attended Russell Sage in 1937 and 1938. The 谢伊学习中心 houses 学术顾问, 学术支持, the Center for Teaching and 学习, the Donnelly Center for Undergraduate 研究, IT帮助台, 拉塞尔·塞奇在线, the Writing Studio and Lucille’s Cafe.
